The primary challenge in the Richmond Project revolved around marrying the client’s vision for an industrial chic aesthetic with the technical demands of the chosen materials. The project involved powder coating curved aluminium perforated mesh louver panels and a staircase. Achieving a flawless finish on these intricate elements while maintaining their functionality was crucial. Standard powder coating processes wouldn’t suffice for the curved panels and ensuring consistent coverage on the staircase required meticulous attention to detail.
PE Australia embraced this challenge with a combination of innovative techniques and high-performance powder coatings. Our team devised a custom application process specifically tailored to the curved nature of the louver panels, ensuring a uniform and flawless finish that accentuated their industrial character. For the staircase, meticulous masking and powder application techniques were employed to achieve a consistent and visually cohesive look. We also utilised a premium powder coating formula known for its exceptional durability and resistance to weather elements, ensuring these architectural features maintained their beauty and functionality for years to come. Through this innovative approach, PE Australia played a key role in realising the homeowner’s vision for a modern industrial haven, seamlessly blending aesthetics with technical expertise.
